The Fate of the Task Master
This is the Task Master’s domain. It exists outside of space and time as we know them. It is an island of ill defined shape or size, encompassing any number of climates or lands. It is home to boundless treasures, magical forces and the Puppets, the Task Master’s slave armies. It is surrounded on all sides by an endless, empty sea. Time here has no relation to time in the Material Plane, and as such any mortal setting foot onto DroutLand as a petitioner to the TaskMaster, will find themselves temporally immortal. There are no “naturally” occurring diseases here and mortals can find plenty to eat and drink, as well as spaces to sleep. Arcane and Eldrich forces function normally, though are slightly limited in their scope. Divine Magics are themselves functional, however as DroutLand lives in the shadows of the multiverse, direct contact with Gods or messengers of such is almost non-existent. (See General Rules for more details)
The DroutLand is very much so the Task Master’s domain. He rules it, he owns it. Everything in it, from the smallest speck to the largest mountain. All bends to his twisted design. Others inhabit the DroutLands, petitioners and a few wild folk, but they are all known to the Task Master. Nothing operates without his approval.
